Payment & Deposit Policy

1. Booking Retainer

A 25% booking retainer is required to reserve a photography date with AJP PIXELS.

The retainer is calculated from the total agreed price for the photography services.

A photography date is not considered officially reserved until the required retainer has been received and AJP PIXELS has provided written confirmation of the booking.

2. Non-Refundable Retainer

The 25% booking retainer is non-refundable after a booking has been confirmed, subject to any rights or remedies required by applicable law.

The retainer compensates AJP PIXELS for reserving the requested date and potentially declining other photography opportunities for that date.

3. Remaining Balance

The remaining 75% of the agreed photography service price is due according to the payment deadline stated in the client's invoice or booking confirmation.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid before photography services are provided.

AJP PIXELS may decline to provide photography services if the required balance has not been paid according to the agreed payment terms.

4. Payment Methods

AJP PIXELS will communicate the available payment methods to the client before the booking is finalized.

Payment methods may include electronic payment, bank transfer, credit or debit card, check, or other payment methods approved by AJP PIXELS.

Certain payment methods may be subject to processing fees or additional terms that will be communicated to the client before payment.

5. Payment Confirmation

AJP PIXELS will provide confirmation when required payments have been received.

Clients should retain payment confirmations, invoices, receipts, and other booking documentation for their records.

6. Late Payments

If a required payment is not received by the agreed deadline, AJP PIXELS may contact the client to request payment.

Failure to make required payments may result in the cancellation or suspension of services, subject to the terms of the client's signed agreement and applicable law.

Any applicable late fees or additional charges will be disclosed in writing before they are imposed.

7. Additional Services and Hours

Additional photography hours or services requested after the original booking may result in additional charges.

Whenever reasonably possible, AJP PIXELS will communicate the additional cost and obtain the client's approval before providing additional services.

8. Travel and Additional Expenses

Certain locations or services may require additional travel, parking, accommodation, permit, or other reasonable expenses.

Any applicable additional expenses should be communicated to the client before the booking is finalized whenever reasonably possible.

9. Cancellation

If the client cancels a confirmed booking, the 25% booking retainer will be retained by AJP PIXELS as the cancellation charge, subject to applicable law.

Any additional amounts paid beyond the retainer will be handled according to the client's signed agreement and applicable cancellation policy.

10. Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule a photography session or event subject to AJP PIXELS availability.

When possible, the 25% booking retainer may be transferred to a new available date when the client requests rescheduling at least 30 days before the originally scheduled event.

Requests made less than 30 days before the event may be treated as a cancellation under the applicable policy.

11. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the cancellation, the client's signed agreement, and applicable law.

The 25% booking retainer is generally non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, subject to any rights or remedies required by applicable law.

12. Photographer Cancellation

If AJP PIXELS is unable to provide the agreed photography services because of an emergency or other circumstance outside the photographer's reasonable control, AJP PIXELS will make reasonable efforts to arrange a qualified replacement photographer when practical.

If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, AJP PIXELS will work with the client regarding amounts paid, consistent with the applicable booking agreement and applicable law.

13. Written Agreements

Payment requirements for a specific photography booking will be confirmed through the client's invoice, proposal, booking agreement, or other written confirmation.

If a signed booking agreement contains payment terms that differ from this general policy, the terms of the signed agreement will govern to the extent permitted by applicable law.
