Agreement Template
This Photography Booking Agreement is intended to establish the terms under which AJP PIXELS provides photography services to a client. The completed agreement should be reviewed and accepted by both parties before photography services are provided.

3. Photography Services
AJP PIXELS agrees to provide the photography services described in the client's booking confirmation or service proposal.
Services may include, depending on the selected package:
- Event photography
- Wedding photography
- Graduation photography
- Portrait photography
- Corporate photography
- Community and church event photography
- Special occasion photography
- Professional photo editing
- Digital image delivery
Only services specifically identified in the client's booking confirmation are included in the booking.

5. Booking and Date Reservation
A photography date is not considered reserved until the client has completed the required booking process and AJP PIXELS has confirmed the booking in writing.
AJP PIXELS may decline or release a date if the required booking requirements have not been completed.
6. Booking Retainer
A 25% booking retainer is required to reserve the client's photography date with AJP PIXELS.
The booking retainer is calculated from the total agreed photography service price and must be received before the date is considered officially reserved.
The booking retainer is non-refundable after a booking has been confirmed, subject to any rights or remedies required by applicable law.
Payment of the retainer does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking. AJP PIXELS must also provide written confirmation of the booking.
7. Remaining Balance
The remaining 75% of the agreed photography service price is due according to the payment schedule stated in the client's invoice or booking confirmation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid before the photography services are provided.
AJP PIXELS may decline to provide services if the required balance has not been paid according to the agreed payment terms.
8. Additional Photography Time
Additional photography time requested by the client may result in additional charges.
The rate for additional hours should be agreed upon before the additional services are provided whenever reasonably possible.
9. Image Delivery
AJP PIXELS will provide photographs according to the deliverables described in the client's package or booking confirmation.
Delivery may be provided through an online gallery, digital download, or another agreed method.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the size and complexity of the event, editing requirements, and other circumstances.
10. Editing and Artistic Style
AJP PIXELS will apply professional editing consistent with its photography style and workflow.
The client acknowledges that photography and editing involve artistic judgment. Exact duplication of another photographer's style or a specific editing effect cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
11. Copyright Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement, copyright in photographs created by AJP PIXELS remains with the photographer or applicable copyright owner.
Payment for photography services does not automatically transfer copyright ownership to the client.
Client usage rights are described in the applicable Photo Usage & Copyright Policy and booking agreement.
12. Client Personal Use
Unless otherwise stated in writing, delivered photographs may be used by the client for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the applicable agreement.
Commercial licensing, resale, publication, advertising, or other commercial uses may require separate written permission.
13. Portfolio and Promotional Use
AJP PIXELS may request permission to use photographs from a client's session or event for portfolio, website, advertising, social media, promotional, or educational purposes.
Any applicable client authorization or photo release should be completed separately or included in the client's signed agreement.
Clients may decline promotional use where the applicable agreement or release provides that choice.
14. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate event information and reasonable access to locations necessary for the agreed photography services.
The client is responsible for obtaining any venue permits, photography permissions, or event-specific authorizations that are required from third parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.
15. Venue Restrictions
Photography may be subject to venue rules, lighting restrictions, security requirements, church policies, event restrictions, or other limitations outside the control of AJP PIXELS.
AJP PIXELS will make reasonable efforts to work within applicable restrictions.
16. Photographer Responsibilities
AJP PIXELS agrees to provide the services described in the client's confirmed booking in a professional manner.
AJP PIXELS will make reasonable efforts to capture important moments during the agreed coverage period.
17. Emergency or Unforeseen Circumstances
If circumstances beyond the reasonable control of AJP PIXELS prevent the photographer from providing services, AJP PIXELS will make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution, which may include arranging a qualified replacement photographer when practical.
Specific remedies for cancellations caused by emergencies or unforeseen circumstances should be addressed in the applicable booking agreement.
18. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Client Cancellation
A client may cancel a confirmed photography booking by providing written notice to AJP PIXELS.
If the client cancels a confirmed booking, the 25% booking retainer will be retained by AJP PIXELS as the cancellation charge for reserving the date and declining other potential bookings for that date.
Any additional amounts paid beyond the 25% retainer will be handled according to the applicable written agreement and applicable law.
Rescheduling
A client may request to reschedule a photography booking. Rescheduling is subject to AJP PIXELS availability.
When possible, the 25% booking retainer may be transferred to the new date if the client requests rescheduling at least 30 days before the originally scheduled event and the new date is available.
If the client requests rescheduling less than 30 days before the event, AJP PIXELS may treat the request as a cancellation and require a new booking retainer for a new date.
Photographer Cancellation
If AJP PIXELS must cancel a confirmed booking because of an emergency or circumstances that prevent the photographer from providing the agreed services, AJP PIXELS will make reasonable efforts to arrange a qualified replacement photographer when practical.
If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, AJP PIXELS will work with the client regarding the amounts paid, consistent with the applicable agreement and applicable law.
19. Payment Terms
AJP PIXELS requires a 25% booking retainer to reserve a photography date.
The remaining 75% balance is due according to the payment deadline stated in the client's invoice or booking confirmation.
Accepted payment methods and any applicable payment processing requirements will be communicated to the client before the booking is finalized.
20. Agreement Changes
Changes to the services, date, location, package, price, or other material terms should be confirmed in writing.
Verbal changes should not be relied upon unless confirmed by AJP PIXELS in writing.
21. Entire Agreement
The signed booking agreement, applicable proposal or invoice, and incorporated policies represent the agreement between AJP PIXELS and the client regarding the photography services identified in the booking.
If there is a conflict between documents, the specific terms of the signed booking agreement should control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Client Acknowledgment
By signing the applicable booking agreement, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed the agreed services, payment requirements, cancellation and rescheduling terms, image delivery expectations, and applicable copyright and image-use provisions.
